We are not affiliated with any charity, mosque, or zakat collection organisation. Your calculation is yours alone — we do not redirect you to donate via us.

Why we built this

Every major UK zakat calculator is owned by a charity. They apply a single madhab implicitly (usually leaning Hanafi-cautious) without telling you, and their primary purpose is to collect your zakat donation for themselves.

We built a neutral tool that respects all four Sunni madhabs correctly, explains its working, and gives you a PDF you can take to your own scholar.

Scholar review

The fiqh rules coded into this calculator are pending formal review by a qualified scholar. We will name the reviewing scholar on this page once their sign-off is complete. Until then, please treat the calculator as a useful estimate and verify with your own scholar for any significant amounts.
